Hi, I’m Abby. I am wife to Steve and mother to four amazing girls, Jaymie, Elizabeth, Cierra and Natalia. My family is my greatest joy!
I strive to live a holistic and mostly organic life. I love to discover delicious and nutritious recipes as well as recipes for DIY natural beauty products. One of my favorite things to do is visit the local farmers market and pick recipes for the week based on what I find. Eating food that is grown locally and in season is one of the best things you can do for yourself and your family. I also enjoy yoga, barre classes, kickboxing and tennis.
I have always been passionate about health and wellness. I want to be more vibrant and healthy on the inside and out with each passing year. I hope my girls grow up with my example in their hearts on how to be the healthiest and happiest they can be.
I graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, in New York City, as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. I am Certified by the American Academy of Drugless Practitioners. I have been trained in over one hundred dietary theories as well as how to support my clients in learning how to eat foods that are best for their own individual needs. Through coaching, I guide my clients to learn how to achieve health, wellness and balance in all aspects of their lives.
In 2015, I published my first book “Paulina the Picky Princess and the Magic Garden”. My youngest daughter is really picky! She is the inspiration behind the book. There is so much processed food out there that is made with artificial coloring, flavoring, preservatives and additives. I am working very hard to make sure my girls eat as many whole foods as possible. I am making their treats and snacks in my own kitchen. This is so good because I can control the ingredients. Their growing bodies and minds deserve the best of what nature gives us. Throughout the process of writing the book, my little picky eater has been more open to try new and healthier foods. It’s so great to get your kids in the kitchen and helping in the garden. They are so much more likely to eat what they help prepare and grow.
In 2016, I published my second book “Passionate Wellness – Simple Tips to Transform Your Health for a Balanced Life”. I am so excited about this book, which was two years in the making. I hope to inspire women to know how to fuel their mind, body and soul so that they are radiant and healthy from the inside out. We all want more energy, better skin quality, healthy digestive systems, improved sleep and reduced stress. In “Passionate Wellness” I give simple tips that will create the foundation to live a healthy and fulfilled life.
